The Tyrone Guthrie Awards, named for the first artistic director of the Stratford Festival of Canada, is an umbrella term for a number of annual prizes awarded since 1954 to members of the festival company and staff.

Created to provide financial assistance for training, professional development and special projects as well as to recognize outstanding accomplishment, the Tyrone Guthrie Awards are funded each year by income from endowed awards and proceeds from 2 designated performances in the festival's season. These constitute a general fund from which awards are administered, together with several named awards, some of which are dedicated to specific areas. Among the Tyrone Guthrie Awards are the Mary Savidge Award for an actress showing outstanding commitment to her craft, the Dora Mavor Moore Award for a young person who has made an outstanding contribution to the festival, and the John Hirsch Award for a young actor showing the greatest potential.
