Simon Sebag, fashion designer (b at Casablanca, Morocco 7 Mar 1943). Raised in Casablanca, Sebag moved to Montréal just after high school. He attended the Université of Montréal's École des Hautes Études Commerciales, where he majored in accounting.

Simon Sebag, fashion designer (b at Casablanca, Morocco 7 Mar 1943). Raised in Casablanca, Sebag moved to Montréal just after high school. He attended the Université of Montréal's École des Hautes Études Commerciales, where he majored in accounting. Although always interested in fashion design he chose a career as an accountant to support his young family.

In 1984 he began a clothing manufacturing company called Fulgurant which would eventually manufacture and distribute his design label Turbulence par Simon Sebag. As designer of this prominent menswear collection, Sebag has become one of the leading figures within Canada's menswear industry. Signatures of his collection include the use of fine fabrics and fashion-forward styling.

In 1995 Sebag was elected president of the board of the Association Professionelle des Designers de Mode du Québec. He has won numerous awards over the years, most notably the Griffe d'Or - Menswear Designer of the Year (1992).
