Justin Time Records Inc. Independent Montreal label operated in affiliation with Distribution Fusion III. Both companies were established by Jim West in 1983. Recording Canadian jazz artists for the most part, Justin Time had released more than 45 albums by 1990.

Justin Time Records Inc. Independent Montreal label operated in affiliation with Distribution Fusion III. Both companies were established by Jim West in 1983. Recording Canadian jazz artists for the most part, Justin Time had released more than 45 albums by 1990. Its roster has included Oliver Jones (its first and most popular jazz artist) as well as Jon Ballantyne, Jean Beaudet, Paul Bley, Tim Brady, Geri Brown, Denny Christianson, Creatures of Habit, Alex Dean, Sonny Greenwich, Brian Hughes, Pat LaBarbera, Ranee Lee, Fraser MacPherson, Bob Mover, Reg Schwager, Dave Turner, Oliver Whitehead, and the duo of Karen Young and Michel Donato.

Justin Time has also released albums by musicians in other fields, including the Stephen Barry Blues Band, D.O.A., Alain Lamontagne, the Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir, the pianist Marie-Andrée Ostiguy with the Orchestre métropolitain, the Montreal comedy duo Bowser & Blue, and the Quebec pop singers Michel Lalonde and Michel Robert.

In addition to Justin Time, Fusion III has handled Canadian distribution for some 50 other recording companies, including the Toronto jazz co-operative Unity, several important international jazz labels (eg, Black Saint, Enja, and Soul Note), several pop reissue programs, and European classical labels Koch, Pierre Vérany, and Wergo, and the Soviet Union's Melodiya catalogue.
